Athletes Briefing:

Race Briefing - Friday
The race formats will be :-
Elite - 10k run, 40k cycle, 5k run.
Junior - 5k run, 20k cycle, 2.5k run
Age group - 10k run, 40k cycle, 5k run.
The Duathlon Age-group Championships will be mass start races for all age-groups athletes and will have a non-drafting cycle section. The Elite Championships will also be a mass start event after the age-group race but the cycle section of the Elite race will be draft-legal. Both the Age-group and Elite events will take place on closed roads in and around Holyrood Park
There will be a Citizens Wave Triathlon, prior to the start of the Age Group Championships waves which are followed by the the Junior Races with the Elite race in the early evening.
